Niching down, the ultimate tip I see EVERYWHERE I look when it comes to building a personal brand, building a business, building a following online or anything else.
Now to be clear in this one I will be talking about personal brands and people or entrepreneurs in general.
When it comes to business, it’s a wide known fact that having a business that plays in one field and one niche is the best way to build it. Being known for 1 thing ad being an expert in it in the market.
But when it comes to personal brands or people, from my point of view, I HATE niching down, I hate being stuck to one thing, I hate doing just one thing, I just hate it, I’m never comfortable doing it and never happy.
And this is where self-awareness plays the biggest part! Knowing who you are, what you love and what makes you happy.
In this blog I am talking about why niching down is bad for ME from my experience, if you’re someone that doesn’t think like me, you know yourself better.
Growing up I never was the kid that does this one thing, I was always a jack of all trades…
I used to do wrestling figure animation on YouTube, did skateboarding, played football, was a bartender, went into graphic design and now I followed what I figured my real passion is which is entrepreneurship and building a business.
Even till now if you ask me what you do, my answer is entrepreneur, I find businesses and running them interesting, and I am not afraid to go into whatever interests me, even if I fail!
If I wake up tomorrow with an interest in microwaves, I’m going to look into what I can add to the microwave field and see what value I can bring.
That’s who I am, and I know myself. My niche is being Kamal Nehme, someone who tries and tries and tries until something sticks without being afraid to fail.
I believe I’m a heavy action taker, even with my content, I try every idea I get and text it based on the feedback, that’s how I do it.
The point I am trying to make here is that there is no 1 strategy that applies for all…
No 1 way to do something and no 1 way to live or to go into your journey.
Even if you listen to 10000 online gurus or entrepreneurs telling you what to do, the answer is always you.
What makes you happy, what make you wake up in the morning and be in a good mood.
Listening to so many online gurus and experts can put pressure on you to execute something that you don’t believe in which in turn will lead to failure and burn out
Always execute on who you are, carve your own path, create your own niche.
THIS is how you stand out and ultimately be HAPPY with what you are doing
My niche is me being myself, its Kamal Nehme
What’s yours?
